Mr. Stecco has developed a long career within the industrial and financial world, mostly dealing with International Development, Strategy and Operations. Before joining NGP Italy he was Executive Director for Convergenza, an international investment company specializing in TMT.

From 1999 to 2001 he held the position of Chairman of Investment Banking (Italy) for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Prior, from 1997 to 1999, he was General Manager of International Development and Operations for Telecom Italia.

Among his previous positions, he was Vice-President of Strategic Planning and Marketing for the Italcementi Group; General Manager of Operations in Central and Eastern Europe for Montedison as well as Manager in the International Division of ENI, working mostly in the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

He holds University and MS degrees in Physics and Electronic Engineering from IAFE (Rome, Italy); he is the author or co-author of several publications and books in the field of Marketing and Management, with an emphasis on the Digital Economy. He is also a lecturer at the Catholic University of Milan.
