Mr. Leone maintains two positions within the NGP Group: a global one directed at managing, coordinating and supporting the NGP Group and the various local teams and practices and one directed at originating and executing local and cross-border deals where NGP Group is present.

Mr. Leone is responsible for supporting NGP Group’s activities worldwide including local coordination of Portfolio Companies assessment, strategy and execution activity; management of relationship with local partners as well as management of NGP Group local infrastructure and local support to all NGP Group.

NGP Group is a generalist when it comes to dealflow. Mr. Leone origination and execution of dealflow focus though tends to be in the area of information technology and telecommunications, with a secondary focus in more traditional sectors.

Mr. Leone, prior to his position at NGP Group, was Director of Global Alliances for Razorfish Inc., a leading end-to-end digital solution provider. In this role, he managed all aspects of large strategic partnerships including strategic negotiations, contract structuring, activity planning and relationship management.
At Razorfish, Mr. Leone was also Director of Strategic Development, responsible to develop processes and methodologies to deliver cross-platform solutions to Razorfish clients. Prior to this role, Mr. Leone served as co-manager of the Start-ups Market Transformation Area, in charge of managing all start-up related business development and project activity. In addition, Mr. Leone developed and delivered Solution Workshops for Razorfish clients, and continues to coach other consultants on Digital Business Models, methodologies, technologies and development of client relationships.

Mr. Leone's expertise includes strategic consulting, interactive marketing, partner planning, business plan development and review, problem solving and design of functional specifications for B2B, B2C and community Web sites. Mr. Leone has worked with clients such as Schwab, SAP, Hartford Steam Boiler, and with start-up companies that range in scope from finance to retail to technology. Mr. Leone holds a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.
